  • Preschool applications for the 2023-2024 school year are now open.

Once the application is received, an invoice will be sent for the $100 non-refundable registration fee. This can be paid by direct withdrawal from your bank account in Brightwheel (the application platform) or my mailing/dropping off cash or check at the church office.Your child is not fully enrolled until the registration fee is paid.

In addition to the application, your student will need a current medical statement and immunization record (dated within the last year) by the first day of school. Tuition is due to the office according to the published tuition schedule. School Schedule

Our school day runs from 9 – 11:30 a.m. All classes run from mid-September through May. There will be a 1-hour orientation meeting prior to the first class for parents only.

    Age Requirements

Children enrolling must be 2, 3, or 4 years old by December 1 to enroll in all classes.

    Toilet Training Policy

3- and 4-Year Old Classroom Potty Training Policy
It is expected that children in the 3- and 4-year-old programs are toilet trained. While we recognize and respect the developmental differences of all children, the 3- and 4-year-old classrooms are not equipped with the facilities or staff to change soiled clothes. Therefore, if children soil themselves during class time, their parents or caregivers are contacted to come in and change their clothing. Occasional wet accidents are changed by the teacher. If accidents become frequent, a meeting is set up to discuss a plan of action. Concerns or special circumstances may be brought to the director for consideration.

    2-Year-Old Classroom Potty Training Policy
We know that potty training is a big milestone in the life of a child. Because accidents can occur frequently while the child is in the training process, we ask that you send your child to school in diapers or pullups until s/he has been successfully, accident-free for six weeks and are willing to use the bathroom. If, after becoming “fully” potty trained (six weeks accident-free), they regress to frequent accidents, we ask that they return to diapers or pullups for the short time they are in school. Diapers can be changed quickly and usually prevent the need to change the rest of their clothes, which allows both teachers more time supervising and engaging with the whole class. Most importantly, continuous communication with the teacher is essential to successfully maneuver through this important developmental stage.

    4-Year-Old Scholarship

In 2022, the preschool was gifted with an endowment to start a scholarship for kindergarten readiness for a 4 year old child (this means the child is or will be 4 by December 1). The 4-Year-Old classroom is in session Monday-Friday. The scholarship is based on financial need. Income tax returns will need to be submitted to verify income. The income guidelines are based on the Bison Scholarship guidelines. A full scholarship or several partial scholarships may be awarded in a given year. The money for the scholarship will be paid directly to First Trinity Preschool.
